2 min read
Tickets give members a private channel with your staff. You build a panel, members open tickets with a button, and a transcript is saved when the ticket closes.
Concepts
- A panel is the message with the button or menu members use.
- A category is a type of ticket, such as Support or Billing. Each has its own staff role and channel category.
- A ticket is the private channel created for one member.
Build a panel
- Open Tickets in the dashboard and choose New panel.
- Add categories and choose who can see each one.
- Write the panel message or use the embed builder.
- Choose the channel and post the panel.
Working a ticket
- Claim a ticket so others know you have it.
- Set a priority so urgent issues rise to the top.
- Add staff or the opener with the usual Discord permissions.
- Close with
/ticket close. A transcript is saved.
