Modmail

Modmail lets members contact your staff privately by messaging the bot, without opening a ticket in the server.

How it works

1. A member sends the bot a direct message.
2. A private thread opens for your staff.
3. Staff replies are relayed to the member, and the member's replies come back to the thread.
4. Staff close the thread when it is resolved.

Set it up

1. Open Modmail in the dashboard.
2. Choose the category or channel where threads appear.
3. Pick the staff roles that can see and answer.
4. Write the greeting members receive.
5. Save changes.

Features

• A thread per member, so history stays together
• Anonymous replies that hide the staff member's name
• Block abusive users from opening new threads

Close a thread with /modmail close.
