Backups

Backups save your server structure so you can recover from a mistake or an attack.

What is included

Channels, categories, roles, permissions and key settings. Backups do not include message history or member data.

Manual and automatic

• Manual: up to 3, created whenever you want from Back up now in the dashboard.
• Daily: an automatic backup each day, keeping the latest 7.

Create a backup

1. Open Backups in the dashboard.
2. Choose Create backup.
3. Wait for it to finish. It appears in the list with the date and size.

Restore

1. Choose a backup and Restore.
2. Select what to restore: everything or only roles, channels or settings.
3. Review the summary and confirm.

Pair it with anti-nuke

Anti-nuke stops an attack. Backups help you recover when something still slips through.

Restoring

Open Backups in the dashboard and press Restore on a backup. Choose what to restore (roles, channels, module settings) and preview the changes first. Nothing is changed until you confirm.
